Summer is coming! Are you ready? Are you ready to show off your hard work in the gym or the countless hours you spend running, swimming and/or biking? Or even playing sports? So for some of you it's not an issue. You are a hardcore athlete and love to work out. And you are not going to have any trouble showing off your hot bod this summer.
But what about the rest of us? Some of us work out but can't seem to lose weight (FAT - let's just call it what it is), no matter what we try. What about some of us that don't even like to work out or feel like we have no time to work out!? If the experts say that getting a lean body is 90% nutrition and 10% training then working out shouldn't even be an issue. So let's give that a test. Summer 2013 is coming and coming fast! Almost as fast as Fast and Furious 6.
Here is what I propose. No Gimmicks, No Charges, No BS! I am just going to share 3 different ways of eating and you pick the one that you think will work best for you and your lifestyle. But here is the catch - You have to follow it 100% without deviation for the next 30/60 or 90 days. My disclaimer is that I am not a doctor or a dietitian. You will be doing this at your own risk and feel free to work with your doctors. I would even recommend getting blood work done beforehand and again after you have lost the weight you want to lose, to see if your bio-markers of health have improved.
Without further ado - here is diet link one for the person that feels they have to have their daily dose of carbs. This even allows for a "cheat day" AKA "free day" to eat whatever you like. Sounds like a pretty good plan to some of us. It's from the blog of Mr Tim Ferriss. Diet link two is for the person that wants to do this without any cheats and can do well without as many starchy carbs. It's the famous Paleo diet which is pretty popular in the Crossfit community. If you want more information on the Paleo diet check out Mr Robb Wolf. And lastly, diet link three adds in some of the carbs but carbs that are high in fiber content. It does a complete elimination of foods that cause allergies and inflammation in many people. It is called The Virgin diet after JJ Virgin.
I could have listed many other diets including my favorite Ketogenic diet, or the Juicing diet, or you get the idea but, I want to set us up for Success. I want us to see and feel the positive results without having to do to any more chores like pricking our finger to see if we are in Nutritional Ketosis, or making and cleaning the juicer at 4 in the morning before we head out to work. All of this has to be do-able and laid out for us. It has to be and feel easy to do, for us to stick to it.
If you are interested in participating and sharing your success please join us at on our Facebook page at AdvancedPersonalFitness. The diet starts April 1st 2013! Please invite your friends and family to also join our quest in a healthier lifestyle. And I thank you for being a part of this with me.
